Unit 22 ........ ever

Today receive a sad news from Milad.H

"As you know John Puttick has resigned from teaching in Diploma to take up a senior post with in Beijing. Firstly, may I say on behalf of Iain, Neil and I, he will be sorely missed on the programme. The wit, charm and good humour that characterised his teaching attitude and expertise was a pleasure to behold. Sadly too, Peter Szczepaniak has since decided to step down, we hope, for just for a while. Peter has been teaching at the Bartlett for 10 years in which time he has consistently guided U22, and before hand U18, through the immense workload and challenge of this ambitious course. Peter will also be sorely missed and we wish him well in his endeavours.

This means of course that there will be a new diploma unit at the Bartlett this coming year. It will bear the same number (22), but we anticipate that it will explore a different academic direction...... So what I'm saying is that once the surprise of loosing Peter and John is over, there are many opportunities for you to explore and exploit, and its up to you how to take full advantage..... But most of all, I am looking forward to seeing you, and getting the new year off to a flying start.

Best regards, Bob Sheil"
