London PIG Year Day One & Two


Day One of PIG Year
I went back Church early in the morning to have service
No red pocket with pounds
but here it has GOD father's love and Church family's joy
We had "the starting meal of a new year" together in Church with my favour "nian gao" of course !
After that I went to China Town to have a look of the foreign crowd and the fake New Year here in London
Well, except for the whole street of hanging red lantern, nothing special
Maybe I was in a hurry to go back home and have electronic "bai nian" with my relatives

Day Two of PIG Year
Tonight we had hotpot in Soki, Keith and Charlene's hall
How come it turned out 16 people totally instead of the original 8 of us?
but anyway, we had great time
I ate a lot these few days and tonight we cooked "tang yuan" as well !
So I better stop excessive eating and do more exercises

Plan to go to Paris and then Holland, maybe Vienna as well, in the coming Easter
So, looking forward !
Um....I have to work faster and harder and then spare more time to play !
I got energy for my boring assignments again !

倫敦的年二十九,年三十

年二十九
除了China Town, Oxford Circus的翏翏數個大燈籠高高掛和架上紅紅的賀年卡
倫敦的新年氣氛就是這麼多
年二十九同班friends搭friends搭friends去唱K
竟然見到HKU Jackson師兄
之後又去Pub, 食宵
結果回家已是早上五點

年三十
起床已經是時候番教會了
由於今日有佈道會的關係
多了很多新臉孔
又竟然見到HKU Mina師姐
在這裡已經有個大大大師姐了
Here we have so many architectural study students in So Bless!
大伙兒吃團年飯
飽飽的
十分高興
明早有年糕食 yeah!

Today went on site for O2 Arena site construction seeing inside the Millennium Dome
It was chilly and my mood was as grey as the sky

Classical British Day




Today is too luxurious for me
In the morning I went to Hyde Park for snow-seeing
which was absolutely beautiful
In the afternoon, I tried my first British high tea in a Fusion Bar called Sketch in Regent Street
The cakes were delicious of course
And the design decoration of this trendy shop, especially the toilet, is cool
At night, I watched the classical Opera _The Phantom of the Opera_ at Her Majesty's Theatre
Wa...... amazing !!!!!
A really really good show of fantastic visual enjoyment
I love it so much and decide to watch again for sure
The song, the stage decoration, the "Space" within a stage, the gesture of performers, the sound effect, the voice of Christian, the sound of Phantom....... all are gorgeous !!!
But of course, a classical British Day costed me a lot
And I think I have to tighten my belt this week
Well... but I quite like it

Bored

Recently feel bored to death
I have never been such bored before
But I discover "bore" is a pushing power for me to study and work harder

Recently reading Steven Holl's work
why didn't I appreciate him when I was in degree?
And due to Mr. Chung's advice, reading animate form as well
