& It is now the only thing keeping me away from sleep

The night without feeling

HAHA tonight?
No way
I am very tired tonight
Tired to the conflict at home_______
Tomorrow is my last day in TFP
Supposingly I will have different kinds of feelings
But tonight my brain is plain
And unfortunately tomorrow is a busy day for me
Bank, Inland Revenue Department, Harbour City Restaurant, Cova, Badminton, P:\, $600sth, photos.......
I like my colleague
I have to think about my good-bye speech and remember to record their face
um....what's more?
Enjoy the day after tomorrow

一年的體會

大陸和Dubai是現今建築畀發展市場的焦點所在
相信到大陸發展是必然的事
其實在這一年我接觸的大部份都是大陸projects
每天都有機會說上幾句普通話
把英文译成简单汉语
有時會被他們太簡化的简单汉语弄得一頭霧水
都蠻有趣呀

其實大陸已經有自己一套的建築做事模式
而我們很大程度上是要配合他們的需要
內地的設計院已具有獨立設計的能力
若干年後當設計漸見成熟
相信他們再不需要和外國公司合作了

還有兩日便結束14個月的工作生涯
終於
放假了 !!!!!

稅局的天空

今日去稅務局途中
想起港台的傑出青年音樂家系列訪問的黃蒙拉
他說當他去到歐洲
天突然開了
感覺和靈感湧現
我想他的話不一定言過其實
最少香港的天空的確比歐洲的小
空氣也十分混淆
真多得令香港商業經濟蓬勃的高樓大廈

順風

近日腦子和身子都很忙累
因為要想的東西太多了
想閱讀的書籍太多了
要預備的事太多了
要花的錢也太多了______

上星期六到塘福去Farewell Mr. Chung & celebrate his BD
今日, 他便啟程前往荷蘭了
….心裡不知有什麼感覺
只知道這日子離我也不遠
Mr. Chung 對我說: “很興奮, 很期待 !”
但願我也如此
笑着對家人, HK說再會

我們都踏入求學的另一階段
雖然再次成為學生
但感覺和三年學士很不同
不單對自己, 對很多的人和事都要從新定位和定義
現在腦海中不斷浮現一句金句
“忘記背後, 努力面前的
向着標竿直跑”

星期六還去了UCL’s pre-departure briefing
只見很多龍珠頭, American style make-up,
中英夾雜說話, rock & punk 的International school”姿色”份子
我想他們一定是有錢人
我頓時感覺自己身在”流星花園”的情節當中
哈哈
還有Charlene 也是倫大的一份子

我的第一次

今日是我有生以來第一次講見證
不知道為何會如此的緊張
縱使有很好的準備
站在青衣堂的講台上, 眾弟兄姐妹的面前
內心是多麼的膽怯
相信緊張的程度比考當年中文口試更甚
可能是因為我不善於表達自己, 害羞, 口才不好的原故吧

我故作振定地走上台
大家的目光都落在我的身上
他們的態度其實是十分友善的
膽怯, 實是多餘
我開始講述這半年來我的經歷和神的帶領
很高興他們都十分留心地聽
還不時向我點頭報以微笑
THEY ARE WITH ME
有數刻我是十分享受和他們有眼神和心靈上的交流
IT'S LOVELY, AMAZING, GORGEOUS
10分鐘的講話用一首歌的歌詞作結束
氣氛不錯
我的感覺亦良好

多希望我的見證能帶給他們一點反思
當然我知道我所講的並沒有如此大的影響力
但最少知道他們對我會了解多一點
會為我的需要禱告
做到青衣堂的堂訓
愛中守候, 合而為一

My Intention

Yesterday night had a Thai Food Dinner with Jane, Irene, Chung, Sunny, Yannis and Chi Wa
The topics surrounding us are those HKU, UCL, Job, London, as usual
Knowing that at least 2/7 will left HKU that means at the same time there will be 2/7 new comers crashing our class
Several UCL arch graduates will go to HKU for master while six of us will go to UCL
It sounds ridiculous that we are actually joining the expensive exchange program !!!
Which side made the correct decision? No one can tell cos everyone got their own value towards architecture study
I know many people complaining their own university is not good enough (廢) and then leave
But life is like that, we can’t just escape and run away
Actually whenever you go, you will still face the similar criticism and problems
The cause may due to the problem of the subject itself_____Architecture has problem
Haha
It seems like I am contradictory to myself cos I am those running away
No, no, no
Well for me, I still believe that HKU is the best within HK
And I definitely think that Architecture is not that problematic
Up till now, I can’t think of any other choices except Architecture
What I am trying to say is I am quite clear the reasons for me to study abroad, once again not because HKU is not good enough
Maybe I want to pursue something more together with Architecture

出外靠朋友

There is a famous Chinese saying
“出外靠朋友”
Means when you go to foreign places, friends are something best to rely on
(Well of course I think rely on self is the most important)
This time, I have to say Thank You to Xiong
He is the one I just met and had dinner once in HK through Mr. Chung
He is a nice guy studying in AA and got a Japanese girl friend
So helpful is he that he agreed to pick me and my stuff from Heathrow to UCL
Otherwise I predict I will get a trouble finding my way to UCL with tones of luggage
