Covent Garden Surprise










London, you have already explosed your ugly face to me
Luckily, I can still find a lot of your lovely gesture overcoming the opposite side
Like today, I go to Covent Garden and surprisingly discover an elegant bridge, which I had saw in Architectural Record before
It's beautiful !
When strolling in the market, I am immediately attracted by the my favour song, Johann Pachelbel 's Canon & Gigue for 3 Violins & Continuo in D Major, which is played in the public area by a group of performers
Gorgeous! The feeling is brilliant and amazingly comfortable
I just stand along the fence watching for quite a long time
Then I visit Norman Foster's 30 St Mary Axe and Richard Roger's Lloyd's of London
Personally I like Richard's cos I like the fancy material used and the heavy metalic feeling

What the hell London is !!!!????

How come London is so inefficient, inconvenient and poor work system?
let alone you are the costly country in the world
Oyster card can be blocked without reason
Mobile phone can be out of service and took me 2 hours going this shop and that shop for simply changing a new one
Registration can take you 3 hours for queuing
Unit interviews can exhause you a whole day standing and waiting in the poor ventilation corridor.......
Everything is crazy here

And Selfridges is just the opposite corner to me
It is ok beautiful at night
And my flat is not that big with newly buy food from Marks & Spencers

Bee Wee's House in Oxford






Many thanks for Bee who served us very well
Houses along the Observatory Street have an interesting contrast in terms of colour and style
The yellow flowers found in the garden give you a fresh feeling
And what I like most are the attic and the open kitchen here

In pleasant Oxford









Oxford is a beautiful town which you can forget everything stressful
I had my first fish & chips here, but I think they are too oily for me although they tasted good
I played the boat and strolled alone on the streets

A little talk about the famous city - Chapter 3

Today I walk alone on the Oxford streets and get my registration in the police office
The policeman is handsome and polite, although it is pretty troublesome that he refuses to change the £5 for me_____
Luckily those old ladies on the street are helpful and change the coins I need
Then I go to the coach station to check the timetable of the return coach for tmr cos we decide to stay one more day here before I go back to London to meet my classmates
Stupid I that I take the new but shorter road and reach my house without going pass the Sainsbury !!!! So time-consuming that I have to walk back the old road again and get my stuff buy ......
That's why I am quite familiar with roads and streets here now____
And stupid Sainsbury that they don't serve beef this few days, and I have to go to Marks & Spencer in order to find what I need
Hey....
I can start to picture the walking distance from my hall to campus____

2nd day in Oxford

Another nice day in Oxford
Strolling around streets without plans and schedules under the pleasant weather feel so good
I went to Christ Cathedral and Lincolin Cathedral and rolled on the grass
Oxford is such a small little town which you can easily find a chapel just by a few steps of walk
I brough something in Sainsbury and planned to cook the dinner

Hello from London

Hello everyone,
I am fine in Oxford now
Today I took the black cap from airport to hall, which cost me £55
My room is some how......ok la
quite old and and manager is not that friendly and helpful
then I took the tube (£3) to Victory Station and have a Sunday Pray in Westminster Catheral
But I fall asleep cos I am so so so tired
follow that I travelled the coach (£13) to Oxford
I like Oxford to dead, it's really beautiful
We (my aunt and her friends) played the boat on the rive, like those ppl do in Cambridge
So relaxing !!!!!
I took a lot of photos but so poor that I can't connect the internet in my hall room unless I pay and register
I will do that as soon as possible
Mc'donald lunch and good Chinese dinner here
I am very very tired but Thank you God that my first day in London is good

Last night at home before departure

Tonight I am surprisingly calm
Maybe I have already got everything packed
And I don't want to think about any extra meaningless fabrication that scare me emotionally
I have to concentrate on my new target now
so that I won't regret to step on this 2 years rocky road
I got to be independent, self-care and support
Anything later on happen to me will sure be a deep memory in my mind
Yes, a great chance, an unexpected experience
Lucky me
Work harder
Thanks for those who help me packing this trip
And of course my dearest family
And now, there is only one motto in my mind:
Try my best and let God do the rest !

911和三個郵包

今天起床已經是1:00pm
可能是作晚有點兒不適的原故

下午到葵盛郵局投寄我三大箱的郵包
重, 很重, 十分重
嘩, 原來都要搞一大輪
大頭虾的我一次又一次寫錯嘢......
但總算順利完成

隔着玻璃
目送三個給我塗鴉的箱
心中突然有點震撼的感覺
因為它們會行先一步
希望我們只是短暫的話別
他日在英國相見
箱呀箱
你們要保重, 唔好爛呀 !!!!!

行經葵盛這個舊村
每個角落都勾起我不少童年的回憶
昔日的熱鬧的街市今日已經水靜河非
不知道五年, 十年後會變成點呢?
希望那股"味道"會常存啦 !
